Serving Seniors Since 1975
Scenic Living Communities was founded in 1975, as a vision of Wayne and Marlene Anderson. A past experience they had prompted them to create a nursing home that would focus on providing exceptional quality care in a family-like setting. Together with two other families, the Andersons built Scenic Manor. At that time, the concept of different levels of care was very unusual – it was only after the nursing home was established that the need was discovered.
Today, Scenic Manor is a certified Medicare and Medicaid 24 hour skilled nursing and long term care provider with a total of 77 beds. We still believe compassionate care and comprehensive services that are customized to each individual is a must.
In 1992, Cedar Ridge Independent Living was built with a total of 43 apartments. The apartments consist of one and two bedroom apartments, as well as an efficiency style. Continental breakfast is served daily with additional meal services available. Along with additional meals, transportation, housekeeping and laundry services are also available. The apartments promote full independence without the burden of maintenance.
In 2002, Ashbrook Assisted Living was built with 41 private apartments. Three levels of care are offered to residents that need supportive services in order to live independently as well as 3 meals, medication assistance, weekly linen service, bathing assistance, transportation and activities. Ashbrook provides 24 hour staffing.
The Oak Terrace Town Homes were built in 2005. A total of 20 town homes provide home ownership and include services such as: water softener salt, snow removal, lawn service, window washing and maintenance support. We’ll even take the trash to the curb for the homeowners.
